1000 Islands Airboats is the Canadian Distributor of Whirlwind Propellers.

The AB Series is an airboat propeller system with graphite composite blades, offered in two, three, and four blade configurations. This series propeller is suitable for aircraft and auto engines with horsepower ranging from 200hp to 500hp, and is available in both right-hand and left-hand rotation.

The composite blades of the AB series propeller systerm have been designed using proven aerospace engineering methods, and are constructed out of graphite to create the lightest and most durable composite airboat propeller possible. Each blade is equipped with a long compound curve stainless steel leading edge.

Composite props are more expensive than wood but they give you smoother operation, quicker acceleration, and better fuel efficiency.
